Universidad Autónoma de Chile
Observatorio Astronómico Nacional de cerro Calán.
Universidad de Chile

The second version of this Workshop & School on Astrochemistry is an initiative with the aims to bring astronomy and chemistry closer and, together with it, give young people the opportunity to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and train to have the latest tools offered by this field of study.
PhD students and postdoctoral students in astronomy, physics and chemistry are encouraged to participate.
The program includes lectures on topics related to astronomical instrumentation, observational techniques that are currently used, methods to derive the physical and chemical conditions of the studied environments, as well as the analysis of some astrophysical cases of special interest. Likewise, workshops on molecular spectroscopy, theoretical calculation of rotational constants and chemical modeling will be offered.
